Pharoh is a musical artist whose work comprises of western Hip- Hop sounds merged with exotic eastern rhythms. His music takes you on a global journey by incorporating African conga drums, Arabic tarab strings, and southern 808 basslines in his production. Pharoh projects an aura of unity that bridges the gap between these cultures, creating a truly distinctive union of music. As a Chicago native, living in Atlanta whose roots trace back to the holy land, Pharoh began his love of music at the age of 12. His father introduced him to various genres of music including classic rock, blues, and reggae. During high school, Pharoh began rapping with local artists and producers. As his passion grew stronger, the quality of his music reached an industry level standard. After linking up with Heval Kelli, a producer with a similar international touch, he discovered new musical dimensions. While balancing college and work, Pharoh managed to refine his vision by creating a production team with producer Heval Kelli, artist SUBMiT, and master engineer Tim Gilchrist. Together they crafted the sound of Pharoh’s most recent album “Jungle Fever”. In addition, they have released experimental mixtapes & EP's to broaden Pharoh’s horizons. With a minimal budget, the team created a promotional system with several music videos, a distinctive website, live performances, and online campaigns. Pharoh's main goal is to reach international success with a sound that will remain timeless. |
